Lucado draws a person in immediately, helping the reader form a connection with what is being taught.
The book itself is not terribly long, about 140 pages, but it comes with a study guide which helps expand the helpfulness of the book. This is a thought-provoking book that will really help you think through Jesus' last few hours.
I enjoyed reading this book and recommend that anyone take a good look at it. I particularly appreciated how Lucado brought in all of scripture into play. We read of Abram, Joseph and other main bible characters as we delve into the depths of the last few hours of Christ's life.
This is a good book for believers and non-believers. It helps to answer a lot of questions that individuals might have about those last hours of Christ and why they are so important. It is not a hard read at all.
Recommend reading it.
