I find that interesting.
Moses' reluctance to follow God's call was apparent in all the excuses he made about why he shouldn't be the one to go to Egypt. Then he heeded his wife more than God so he almost died as the result, and yet God still chose to use Moses as his method for releasing the Israelites from the slavery of the Egyptians. Moses... an imperfect vessel.
It begs the question. If God can use an imperfect vessel such as Moses... how much can he use me? I am also an imperfect vessel. But being such doesn't preclude God's action in my life. God did wonderful things through Moses. Moses became such a stalwart of our faith. I don't aim to be one of those.... but I do aim to be someone that my son can look to and say "My mom loved God and showed me what faith in him means." Oh that God could use my imperfect life to show that.
