I greet thee who my sure redeemer art
When morning guilds the sky
Joyful Joyful we adore thee
Breathe on me, breathe of God
Have thine own way Lord
Take the name of Jesus with you
Scripture : Colossians 3:1-4
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
It is so easy to get off track in our desire to grow in the Lord. To have a to do list. This can make us proud... Giving us a false humility. Putting us in the position of having to earn our ways into God's good books.
If then you have been raised means... SINCE you have raised.... Means you are connected to him. We are part of him.
The Bible is clear. We live in sin. We cannot live for Christ on our own.
When Christ, we also died. The world does not have power over us. We can now seek after Christ. Seeking the things above is the act of seeking Christ.
So now we can live life differently... Loving Jesus means I see differently.... Able to see Jesus more. We can earth from a heavenly perspective.
To do this means we have to spend time with him. Talking with him, Learning about him in God's Word, and so forth.
Nothing in the world is safe from being taken from us.
But nothing can take us from God. As we hold to him, he holds to us.
Hidden within him.
No one can ever take us from him. Never we are hidden in Christ within God himself.
Seeking after Christ fills us.
Personal Reflection
Because I seek after Christ means I am saved. Otherwise I'd pay it no nevermind......
