Starting last week Jim is taking two weeks off work.
Last work he went camping with the guys. There are a bunch of camping guys that he gets together with every year around this time. They go some place. Eat lots of meat. Have lots of good conversation and basically just enjoy themselves.
One year they helped Jim put a different sort of ...not sure what you call it.. it's the part that holds up the trailer at the front. They did this so he could put on stabilizers. Very nice of them to do so.
This year was rather wet and cold for them and Jim came home with a sore back.
That back has slowed him down this week a bit, he hasn't accomplished what he had hoped to do. Yesterday the lad and I took him out fishing. He enjoyed himself though he didn't catch a single thing. The lad and I fished for a while as well, but the lad got intrigued by a bunch of zebra mussels that he pulled in. After a while I got intrigued by what the lad was doing in his efforts to keep them alive. :) So while Jim fished, the lad and i looked at rocks. I collected some for painting on later as we study Canada. Not sure if we'll paint of them all or if we'll modge-podge pictures on to them or just what we'll do. It'll be interesting none-the-less.
Today we plan to do something together as a family. I'm not entirely sure what yet, but we'll figure it out.
