Saturday we had nothing to do other than the fireman's breakfast, and yes, I could have gone yard-saling but I really didn't want to so we stayed home. We stayed home and we worked. :)
The lad played lego most of the day but came whenever called to help which I considered sufficient.
What did hubby and I accomplish?
He finished the patio.
I got the garage cleaned up. he helped somewhat which was a boon to my spirit. :)
I got about half of the kidney garden done out front. That's the small garden that I made with an apple tree and what not in it.
We got the pool up. Discovered it has a small leak in the top ring. Fixed that. Hubby said to me last night that he think there is another small leak in it that will need repair so he'll be looking for that this morning. :)
We were good and tired by the end of the day. Had thought about eating out, but that would have required showers and actually driving some place and we were too tired for that so we just kinda munched on whatever. it worked! :)

enjoying the fruits of our labour
we moved the catnip, which meant we building the toad house. Believe it or not, it actually gets used. :)
Why move the catnip? well.. we finished building the patio so therefore the catnip needed to be transplanted. We had a huge patch growing were the patio stones and pool ended up going. :)
Where the hay is, is where our rhubarb comes up. The catnip was planted right behind the toad house. In an area easily controlled with the lawn mower (as catnip is a mint type plant and easily invasive).
