The first week we went to Fanshawe Park in London, this is a normal place for us to go. Close to home, easy access pool, able to visit Gramma, and just a nice place to relax and be able to invite friends out to come and visit us. The lad went fishing with Dad and some friends. Bug hunting, swimming, fishing, hiking, learning to bike, and such like activities filled our days. We had friends come up on two separate days. We went out one day to a bug event - a fellow set up a big display of pinned insects and some spiders. The lad was able to ask questions and to learn a few things.
The second week we went up to Bronte. Part of my plan was to visit the Ontario Science Centre and to go the ROM, but the weather was simply so lovely, and the lads came down with summer colds so it seemed easier and more restful to just kick back around the trailer and the pool. We visited with Friends on afternoon at their place and then had a cousin and family come up for a visit around the pool. it was a good time all round. on Sunday we went to Bronte Harbour. The lad caught a really cool spider that he'd never seen before. We did some fishing and saw some sand sculptures.

Revamped the set up a bit
We always bring our easy up to have a set place to sit out of the sun and potential rain, This week I decided to set up the kitchen inside the tent to see how that might work. We needed to work out where to put the barbeque as neither Jim or I wanted to have the smoke from the bbq inside the tent so we set it up outside.
